2010 CONNECTED ARTS FUNDING PROGRAM - CALL FOR APPLICATIONS

ACCESS AND OUTREACH PROJECTS

ConnectEd Arts, part of the Arts NSW Arts Funding Program, is a NSW Government arts and education strategy funded by Arts NSW and managed in partnership with the Department of Education and Training.

ACCESS

ACCESS Project Funding is to subsidise ticket and travel costs and is generally available for school excursions to performing arts centres, galleries and museums. Funding is intended to remove barriers for disadvantaged government schools to participate in high quality performances and exhibitions. Local government authorities, and not for profit arts organisations are eligible to apply.

OUTREACH

OUTREACH Project Funding supports initiatives that develop arts organisations’ education programs and increase their capacity to work with diverse school communities.  Projects should create opportunities for the arts and education sectors to work together to develop high quality participatory arts experiences (workshops, teacher professional development, master classes) that challenge and engage students and their teachers in learning across the NSW curriculum. Local government authorities, and not for profit arts organisations are eligible to apply.
