Armidale musician Anthony Green, recipient of the inaugural Troy Cassar-Daley Scholarship, has graduated from the 2008 Australian College of Country Music in Tamworth.

The Scholarship, which is awarded to an Indigenous country music artist based in NSW, is a direct result of funding provided by Arts NSW to the Country Music Association of Australia (CMAA).

Named after Troy Cassar-Daley, to acknowledge his outstanding success as a NSW Indigenous country artist, the Scholarship covers course fees and living costs for what is widely recognised as the leading specialist course in Australian country music.  The Scholarship is managed by CMAA.  For further information contact Cath Grippo, Projects Officer, Country Music Association of Australia, Tel: (02) 6766 1577 or go to www.country.com.au.
