CALL FOR APPLICATIONS - ConnectEd Arts

ConnectEd Arts, part of the Arts NSW Arts Funding Program, is a NSW Government arts and education strategy funded by Arts NSW and initiated in partnership with the Department of Education and Training.

ACCESS GRANTS

Access Grants are to subsidise ticket and travel costs generally applicable to excursions to performing arts centres, galleries and museums. They are intended to remove barriers for disadvantaged government schools to participate in high quality performances and exhibitions. Local government authorities, not for profit arts organisations and NSW State cultural institutions are eligible to apply.

OUTREACH GRANTS

Outreach Grants are for projects which create opportunities for the arts and education sectors to work together to develop high quality participatory arts experiences (workshops, teacher professional development, master classes) that challenge and engage students and their teachers in learning across the NSW curriculum. Grants are available for short term (up to 2 weeks) and long term (up to 12 months) projects. Local government authorities, tertiary educational facilities, not for profit arts organisations and NSW State cultural institutions are eligible to apply.

Closing Date: Monday 30 March 2009

Guidelines outlining the application process, selection and eligibility criteria, and Application Forms are now available.
