The winners of the 2008 NSW Premier’s Literary Awards were announced by the Minister for the Arts, the Hon Frank Sartor MP, on 19 May 2008.

Minister for the Arts Frank Sartor today released the findings of a strategic review examining public library funding in NSW.

The review by former Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal chair Dr Tom Parry was commissioned to help ensure Government funding was distributed in the most effective way.

Indigenous students across the Riverina are flying high at a residential circus camp as part of the NSW Government’s commitment to arts education in regional areas.  Minister for the Arts Frank Sartor said that 37 students are currently enjoying the four-day camp in Albury, led by NSW’s top youth circus company, the Flying Fruit Fly Circus.
