The winners of the 2008 NSW Premier’s History Awards, the 2008 Indigenous History Fellowship and the 2008 NSW History Fellowship were announced by the Premier and Minister for the Arts, the Honourable Nathan Rees MP, on 27 October 2008. 

Minister Assisting the Premier on the Arts, Virginia Judge has welcomed Diego Bonetto as the winner of the 2008 Helen Lempriere Travelling Art Scholarship.

 

Ms Judge said the scholarship is one of Australia’s leading awards for emerging artists.

Australian and New Zealand Cultural Ministers (CMC) on 2 October agreed to the release of a discussion paper on the development of a National Arts and Disability Strategy.

I am pleased to provide details of the new Arts Funding Program for 2009. This new Program replaces the previous Cultural Grants Program in NSW.
