ConnectEd Arts is a NSW Government arts and education program funded by Arts NSW. It is managed in partnership with the Department of Education and Training.
ConnectEd Arts offers the following funding categories:
- Access Project Funding – subsidises ticket and travel costs and is generally available for school excursions to performing arts centres, galleries and museums. Funding is intended to remove barriers for disadvantaged NSW Government schools to participate in high quality performances and exhibitions.
- Outreach Project Funding – supports initiatives that develop arts organisations’ education programs and increase their capacity to work with diverse school communities. Projects should create opportunities for the arts and education sectors to work together to develop high quality participatory arts experiences (workshops, teacher professional development, master classes) that challenge and engage students and their teachers in learning across the NSW curriculum.
