Closing dates vary, depending on the funding category.
As a general rule, applications for funding in a particular year close the year prior (i.e. applications for programs and projects that take place in 2012 close in 2011).
Fellowships and scholarships can usually begin in the same year as the closing date, because the announcement timeframe is shorter than it is for the Arts Funding Program.
