There are a range of general eligibility requirements that apply to all categories of the annual Arts Funding Program. Additional and specific eligibility criteria apply to each funding category.
As a general rule, to be eligible for funding, individuals must be Australian citizens or permanent residents, resident in NSW, and be considered professional practitioners in their field; organisations must be registered not-for-profit entities, a cooperative or a trust, or a local government authority. In extraordinary circumstances, commercial organisations can apply for funding for non-profit projects, but they must obtain written approval from Arts NSW if they intend to apply for funding.
