Annual program funding

Annual Program Funding is a contribution towards an organisation’s costs of delivering its principal annual program of arts and cultural activities. Funding can contribute to any aspect of the annual program.

Who can apply? Organisations

Term: 1 January to 31 December 2013

Objectives of the Annual Program category are to:

  • develop sustainable arts and cultural organisations, services and infrastructure
  • stimulate arts and cultural development in NSW
  • support the employment of NSW professional artists and professional arts practitioners
  • contribute to innovation and excellence both within and across artforms and disciplines
  • improve performance, curatorial, production, exhibition and collection management standards
  • develop longer-term, meaningful engagement with diverse artists and audiences.

In addition, funding is not available for:

  • organisations already in receipt of Multiyear Program Funding, with the exception of local councils with multiple business units.
  • peak and service organisations not previously in receipt of Annual or Multiyear Program Funding from Arts NSW.

Eligibility information for Local Councils

If a Local Council business unit or entity has been invited to apply for Multiyear program funding other business units within the same council may be eligible to apply for Annual program funding. Arts NSW will accept either a single application for a Council’s entire or combined arts and cultural program, or separate applications from individual Council business units and entities.
